Michelle Wilhite grew up in Laredo, Texas, where the color and culture of the Texas–Mexico border sparked her early love of fashion. After graduating college, she began her career in Dallas as a handbag assistant buyer at a major luxury department store during the height of the “It Bag” era. With over 20 years in luxury retail and wholesale, Michelle launched her own handbag collection, blending her passion for handbags with jeweled, whimsical design details.
